Since we're in a pretty strong Lego phase of life, we decided to be Legos for Halloween. Willow is in to Legos also but was pretty adamant about being Elsa again. We have a lifetime supply of Cheetoh Balls now!

Pumpkins!
We had 12 pumpkins between Owen's field trips, 3 trips to the pumpkin patch, and one home-grown. Yesterday afternoon we enjoyed carving and painting the pumpkins and are excited to see how they look lit up!
Check out how thick the red pumpkin is!!

Pumpkin Patch - Round 3
We enjoyed a great afternoon at a different pumpkin patch on Friday. It wasn't as crowded as a weekend would've been, plus the weather was perfect! They've even added more fun activities at this pumpkin patch this year!
Gramps loves the pumpkin shooter!
It was hilarious listening to Owen talk to the chickens!
After jumping for a while, Willow and Owen started running across the top of the jumping pillow and giving each other a high five when they passed each other.

Apple Picking
We went for another round of apple picking since 'tis the season. It was a bit chilly with a very cool breeze, but the pickin' was good so we staying focused and walked away with a load of apples! Then we enjoyed lunch at Five Guys together before heading back home.
Miss Independent:
Owen said, "Check out this baseball field!" Welp, no bases, but it was great for running through!
Can you make out tiny Chris, Gramps, and Gramma at the top of the hill?
Owen double-fisting the apples. Thankfully the owner welcomes tasting in the orchard!

New earrings!
We've cleaned Willow's earrings 3x/day for 6 weeks, so we were able to change to a different pair last weekend! She got startled the first time I took them out, so she actually refuses to let me take them out anymore and insists that Chris does (since he has sooooo much experience with earrings and all! [major sarcasm]). She's lost most interest in changing them due to the first "taking out" experience, so we're mostly just cleaning the original earrings twice a day. Given time I'm sure she'll eventually be ready to switch them more regularly.
Pumpkin Patch - Round 2
We have to hurry and hit all of our favorite pumpkin patches while the sun is out! We had a nice high-60s afternoon yesterday so we hit one of our local pumpkin patches after school with Gramps and Gramma, who just got in town.
Always the leader:
When you can't find your way through the corn maze, take a short-cut downhill towards the patch:
The slide is always a favorite:
"How does this thing work??"
