St. Patrick's Day

The leprechaun stopped by again this year! The joke on the mirror says:
Knock, knock
Who's there?
Warren
Warren who?
Warren anything green for St. Patrick's day??
(The joke is a bit funnier since Gramps and Gramma lived in a town called Warren)

St. Patrick's Day

The leprechaun paid a visit to the kids' bathroom again this year. It's a good thing this message on the toilet washed off or else we might've had to set a trap next year!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The leprechaun stopped by!

Owen left out his notebook for the leprechaun to draw himself:

Willow and I followed a step-by-step video on how to draw a leprechaun:

St. Patrick's Day and Easter

Thanks to the Murrays for sharing this fun St. Patrick's Day shirt with Willow!

The leprechaun left a bit of a mess in our toilet!!

Willow had fun dying and decorating Easter eggs!

Willow played the Easter bunny for Owen a day early and left this cute note a basket of things by his door:

The kids did a great job finding the eggs - just leaving a few for the adults ;)

Nana and Grandpa joined us for church!

We enjoyed spending time with family in the afternoon, decorating cookies, planting seeds, an Easter egg hunt, and eating WAY too much food!

Nana got the girls sweet matching dresses!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We enjoyed the beautiful 60-degree weather by watching a St. Patrick's Day parade downtown with Nana last weekend. There were tons of people which made for tight quarters watching the parade and long lines for food so we didn't stick around too long after the parade but the kids really enjoyed watching. Owen particularly enjoyed all of the big trucks!

Poor doggie!

We had a snow day on St. Patrick's Day, so Willow didn't get to enjoy whatever fun activities her teacher had planned (she STILL talks about how the leprechauns messed up their classroom while they were at recess last year!). I didn't want her to be completely disappointed, so I put green sprinkles in the toilet and on the counter/sink before she woke up. She was so excited to go looking throughout the house for other things messed up, so we had to send Daddy Leprechaun downstairs super-fast to go mess up a few more things. We enjoyed green waffles with green sprinkles on a green plate with a green cup for milk (and happened to be a green pajama shirt too). I don't think she'll be talking about this St. Patrick's Day until next year though =)
