We woke up to a tree branch down in the front yard. None of us heard it and there hadn't been more than a little rain overnight. Chris had an arborist out and, since the other branches would fall on Willow's car and the house, recommended that we have it taken down. Apparently Bradford Pear trees are pretty known for losing their branches. It looks a lot different in the front yard now!

The kids helped clean it up as much as possible. Willow even tried the sawzall!
I was sad when I realized that we'd be having the tree taken down that we've taken the kids first day of school pictures by, as well as their senior class tshirts. We decided to get Willow's picture taken "early" but not before the tree company truck was parked in front of the house.
