Willow has had a great year! She's adjusted to high school well, enjoying her performing arts program and being part of the school basketball team. We enjoyed going to some football games together as well as soccer. She's my spectating BFF! We enjoy going to theater performances and concerts together. There are fun aspects of parenting teens! Willow continues to enjoy volunteering with cats at the SPCA as well as the nursery at church each week. She's interesting in helping at the coffee bar at church and singing in the praise band as well. She loves going to youth group and finds those friends to be her "drama free" friends. She's had a couple hiccups with friends at school but has handled it well. If I could save her from the cafeteria, I would!! Willow continues to enjoy baking but does great making dinners as well. She enjoys playing games with us, listening to music, and singing in the shower (no, they haven't gotten faster). She still reads at breakfast and before bed but is still is drawn to her phone for sure!
