Halloween fun!

Dada's "witch" pumpkin (upon Willow's request):

One of Willow's preschool friends had a Halloween party last weekend. Her 4th grade sister had about 20+ friends over and they did activities with the preschoolers: bouncy house, scavenger hunt, Halloween story, pumpkin painting craft, BINGO, and snacks. It was quite the party! Willow was happy to play with her friends from school and Mama was happy to meet some other mamas!

Who needs dinner?
 Our witch and cow!!

The church that Willow's preschool is at had a "Trunk or Treat." We'd never been to one before, but it's definitely the best way to maximize your time trick-or-treating with little ones! There were lots of creatively decorated trunks:

Owen was happy to check out the fire truck:

and the police car (he even got to push the buttons that turned the lights on/off!):

Willow braved the crazy 50-gallon drum train again (I'd never seen these before we moved here and now I've seen them at 3 different places here!)

Owen's first lollipop (he's a biter, not a sucker)

Willow's Preschool Fun

We are sooooo grateful that Willow's preschool teacher has a private Facebook page where she posts pictures of the kids at school or on field trips. It makes this working mama happy to get a peek into her school world.  Here are a few of her year so far:

Outdoor Picnic

They've been on two field trips to two different pumpkin patches. No complaints here!!

Gramma was in town to help chaperone!!

My favorite pic of all time!

Not to crazy about that underground slide!!

And the 2nd pumpkin patch:

So, they've had these crazy 50-gallon drum trains pulled by a tractor at both pumpkin patches the class went to. Willow didn't go on the one on their first field trip, then we went as a family to the same place and Owen and Daddy went but Willow still wasn't interested....

I about fell out of my SEAT when I saw this!!!! She went on the one at their 2nd trip!! Good job brave girl!!

I love that they have independent reading time AND journal writing time in their class!

Preschool is so fun!!!

Showering Aunt Kim

** WARNING!! *** No pictures of kids in this post =)   This one's mostly for Nana =)

We enjoyed showering Baby-Girl-On-The-Way Caldwell last weekend. Kim's friend Dori was in from Texas so we headed to Richmond to celebrate with Kim's friends there. Of course we had to stop by our favorite apple-picking orchard on the way for fresh apples but, more importantly, for fresh apple cider donuts!!

We had lots of yummy treats!!

Nailpolish in different shades of pink for a favor for guests:

And a few fun activities/games:

Friends helped decorate onesies...no final pictures (boo!)

Which playdough baby do you think is the best?

We're sooooo excited to meet this new bundle of joy!!!
