A Day in the Country

Aunt Kim and Uncle Chad told us about a fun farm near them that had a fall festival and tractor pull going on today. We knew Owen would love seeing the tractor pull, we all love festivals, and we all love hanging out with the Caldwells, so we knew it was a win-win! (I did my best to narrow it down to 50 pictures....from 261...)

When we arrived, one of the coordinators walked over to us to see if we wanted to register to be a part of the 3-hr tractor ride around the county. Ummm....on a windy 50-degree day with no blankets or enough snacks to entertain kids for that long? No thanks =)  Both kids enjoyed "driving" them before the parade began and we enjoyed seeing them line up and take off.

We hung out in the back of the car to get out of the wind while we waited and watched the tractors pull out.
Owen says, "I need my gwasses."
This never ends without someone getting mad:

Wearing her glasses upside-down like her brother:

There they go!!

All the tractors had to wait while Kim and Chad came in, blocking the exit (j/k...sortof...):

WelCOME:

Cousins!!

There were tons of fun activities for the kids! Hay mazes, playsets, air pillow (trampoline), cornhole, slides, petting farm area, barrel train, apple slingshot, volleyball cage...

They got some good air!!

Beautiful country!

They hit the targets a few times!!

It might've been filled with air, but it was heavy!!

Watch out Aunt Kim!!!

I think Aunt Kim saw her life flash before her:

Where'd she go??

Mama and Aunt Kim found this ball to be more our "speed:"

Eeeeek!

The slide was wet and Owen tried to convince Uncle Chad to go down first =)

Wide open spaces:

After naps we tortured Hannah with hats:

Wasn't she just playing in one of these as a baby???

Future figure skating partners:

Ready for a walk in the woods:

The Caldwell's "front yard:"

Happy Hannah and Jealous Cousin:

We even enjoyed dinner at Moes together before heading back home. =)  Thanks for a great day Caldwells!!!
