Camping: Jellystone

We enjoyed camping at Jellystone with the Caldwells. We went last year and learned the best sites to get. It was pretty chilly this year!

The kids enjoyed playing near this stream under the bridge for most of the day!

Just a little muddy!

An intense game of Throw Throw Burrito!

Kim found these fun shirts!

Owen was the Mandalorian. He enjoyed making his weapon (disintegrator) with Chris.

Hunter was a fun inflatable dinosaur skeleton!

Our skeleton candy pajamas got a 2nd use ;)

It's fun to see how many people decorate their campsite! One family had a small Uhaul of bins for their decorations!

The kids were tired from all the walking but definitely made out well in the candy department! Whiskers monitored to see if there was any cat treats in there!

My favorite fall tree are maples! The one in our backyard has really grown, and Chris planted one of the red maple saplings that the kids brought home from an Earth Day assembly at school a few years ago next to it.

Owen enjoyed ANOTHER night of trick-or-treating with a couple neighbors on Halloween. Willow stayed home and handed out "recycled" candy (aka: the ones they didn't want from camping).

Fun with Friends

Willow was invited to a friend's birthday party. They rented a limo and drove around town, stopped for ice cream, then headed up to the star to look out at the city lights. What a fun adventure!

We love the outdoor festival downtown each fall!

The BMX bikers are pretty crazy!

We enjoyed lunch with Owen's friend, then headed to their favorite place to get Pokemon cards, then walked around the outdoor festival.

One of Willow's close friends moved to a neighboring county. Thankfully they've stayed in touch by text. It was sweet to have her over for a baking day. They are two peas in a pod!

They look so grown checking out at the store!

They made two types of mini cheesecakes. They did a great job!

Pumpkin Carving

Gramma got a new walking stick, so she tried it out while enjoying the fall colors on a hike nearby!

We headed back to the house for some pumpkin carving!

Owen's Pokemon character (too many details made it hard to carve out):

Gramps picked Golden Corral for his birthday dinner. He got serenaded too!
