An area mall had their first Touch-a-Truck event, but had us sold when they advertised a horn-free hour! We've taken the kids to a closer Touch-a-Truck event, but the horns are loud and startle the kids, causing them to be anxious as we walk around, so the horn-free hour was right up our alley! The weather was perfect and we were able to meet Kim and Hannah and Nana and Grandpa who are back in town. Owen was in heaven without horns and sirens going off around him and they had a great selection of vehicles to explore. I wish the horn-free hour was 2 hours and we would've stayed longer! Check him out here and here.
Mama's under arrest!
Mama and Owen are both being hauled off to the slammer (you gotta love Owen's "sad face"):
Willow got an excavator tattoo but was happy to see the trucks from the ground (except one pictured below):
Those are some big wheels!
The one truck Willow climbed up onto (but not into):
Free ice cream from the ice cream truck!
A few pictures from Willow:
Willow has been asking to get her ears pierced for almost two years. I've hesitated due to my clear memories of having infected earring holes growing up. She's promised to take good care of them and understands the commitment and care needed, so we waited for Nana to be back in town at the same time as Gramma so they could be there with her. She was pretty excited!

Willow did an awesome job - never crying a tear. She did take the employee up on the offer to take a break between ears though and was a bit more nervous for the second one but, nonetheless, was a champ!
Done!!
We enjoyed eating at Five Guys before heading home.
The last picture we'll have of Aunt Kim with a baby in her belly! The kids' new baby cousin will be born Monday at 7:30! Woohoo!
