Happy New Year!

The kids enjoyed binge watching Lost episodes until 11:30 on NYE, then watched the NYC countdown. We had plenty of snacks and even Chris stayed up!!

We went on a cruise to celebrate Nana and Grandpa's 50th anniversary a little early (when schedules allowed!). We drove to Charlotte to fly to the Miami area and the radar wasn't looking good! Thankfully it cleared out enough by the time we got there.

We got on the ship and went straight to the buffet!! Let the eating begin!

The kids enjoyed checkers and chess quite a few times.

We packed suits in our backpacks so we could enjoy the pool right away!

The cruise was after Christmas but they still had great decorations up! We were on the ship for New Years Eve.

Our first stop was at Great Stirrup Cay, which is Norwegian's private island. The tender boat to the island was a wild ride with the big waves but we were just grateful to be able to go since we couldn't last time.

The water was beautiful! We rented snorkel equipment for the kids to try out and they were able to see some fish! It was good practice for Willow's trip to Belize which will include snorkeling!

Cookies and soft serve is always a great combo...no matter what time of day!

We ate our days away! We found the best appetizers and the best entertainment on the ship!

The kids and moms enjoyed all the game shows and shows!

The game room helped pass time waiting until midnight on New Years!

They had a few balloon drop areas but they were all PACKED super early. We found a good view from above to ring in the new year.

We stopped at a port in the Bahamas. Since we didn't have an excursion, we just headed to the shops for a little bit. Owen had his eye on the coconut drink, which were a hot commodity!

We dressed up to have family pictures taken.

We had an excursion in Jamaica to a private island. Unfortunately we weren't able to snorkel there due to the waves, so we were grateful the kids had snorkeled the day before. The kids had a great time in the water!
