Owen is developing quite the little personality lately. Here are some of his "quotables:"
* "Let me think about it (said while tapping his temple with one finger)..."
* (in the middle of our prayer at dinnertime) "Wake up! Wake up children!"
* (after I went upstairs to dry my hair) "Come downstairs 'n see me!!"
* (during Family Movie Night) "Tickle me. All night."
* "Are you kidding me???"
* "What are you talkin' 'bout?"
* "Fank you so much for my puzzles Daddy."
He's also impressed us lately by knowing the name of a toy ram at his preschool and saying the name of our street as Chris turned on to it. This boy is a sponge!! Check him out singing the ABC song.
He's been very in to doing puzzles lately. We have some 25-piece puzzles that he can do by himself (over and over and over...). He still loves his trucks and books too. You can often find him using the play kitchen and offering you some coffee or a dessert. He hasn't been interesting in hitting a baseball or playing catch for a while.
Owen typically sleeps from 7:45ish to 5:30ish lately and will occasionally go back to sleep. His nap is typically 1 1/2 hrs. He eats fairly well. Usually oatmeal, dry frosted Shredded Wheat cereal, or the cereal with the "crunchy fangs [things]" (Honey Bunches of Oats with no milk) are his requests. Dinner is not his favorite, but he can often be bribed by getting a treat after dinner if he has _#_ more bites.
He still loves Alli cat. When I was reading his books before his nap this afternoon she came in and he went over to get one of his empty baskets for her to hop into. He always wants to pet Alli before going downstairs in the morning and has gotten better with staying calm and quiet while petting her (vs. his high-pitched squeal he used to do).
Chris said that Owen was frustrated trying to push some crayons with his bulldozer since you have to push the blade down for it to scrape the carpet. He promptly went over to his workbench and grabbed some toy tools to fix it:

This week we were able to go in to meet his new preschool teacher. He'll go on Tues/Thurs mornings starting next week. He did great! (It may help that it's at our church and also where Willow went to PreK last year.)
