We took advantage of the long holiday weekend to put up our Christmas tree and a few other decorations around the house. The kids did their best to help =)
Owen couldn't quite figure out how to get the ornaments on and didn't have an interest in being shown. He prefers to take them off (ugh!).
Owen mostly helped in taking the ornaments out and tossing them all over the floor.
Alli always loves to get in on the action!

And the new addition to our house this year, Belle:
She comes from the book "Elf on the Shelf." The story goes that she was sent by Santa to watch if the kids are "naughty" or "nice," reports back to Santa each night, then finds a different place to watch from the next day. I think Willow is a little too wise for her own good - she was pretty sure that Belle could only see what the kids did in the room she was in, therefore, Willow didn't think Belle saw her taking ornaments off the tree (which she and Owen have been told several times not to do!) when Belle was in the playroom one day. She has enjoyed looking for Belle each morning, though. Owen has even added "Belle" to his vocabulary =)
