Willow's preschool coordinates a "Superkid Day" for each classmate. Today was Willow's Superkid Day! She was to share a poster about herself and could bring a toy to share, special snack, and a favorite book/game to share. Family members were invited to come for the last 30 minutes of school to help celebrate. We made rice krispie treats with sprinkles as a special snack, upon her request. Chris and I read "There's a Bird On My Head," and Willow chose her Eiffel Tower, Madeline book collection, and Madeline doll to show to her friends. We had Gramps, Gramma, Chris, Owen, and myself to help her celebrate. Thankfully my principal was accommodating in letting me slip out of school for a bit!
Her teacher asked her questions that were made into the poster below:
Willow shared her answers with her classmates. She did an excellent job speaking in front of her peers! Much better than I ever would have done at that age!!
The teacher also asked Willow's classmates why she was a super kid and was sharing them with her in the picture below. It was super sweet!!
