We enjoyed spending the rainy morning with Nana, Grandpa, Aunt Kim, and Hannah at a local strawberry festival. Unfortunately due to our cold winter there weren't any strawberries to pick yet, but we were able to enjoy a "train" ride, carriage ride, a petting area, and strawberry shortcake...oh, and the parents enjoyed a carnival ride (the kids got spooked out by loud honking noises after being strapped in to their first ride, before the ride even began). It was a good time. Next time we might just wait for the strawberries to be ready to pick though.
Everyone has tummy time:
Happy Hannah is getting so big!!
Yummy strawberry shortcake!
and strawberries!
Hannah will enjoy them next year =)
Owen couldn't resist the "train" ride:
The "big kids" going for a ride:
The kids were holding hands as they watched us get strapped down. They were seriously looking at us as though it was the last time they were going to see us. The ride got going pretty fast (check out Nana's video of us here) and we were wondering if our smiles/cant-stop-laughing-face looked to the kids like we were laughing or crying.
Owen said he wanted to ride the pony but then refused to stay on it. They let us trade that money for our entrance to their petting area (who charges for a petting area????).
