We have been enjoying some great spring weather off and on lately, so it's been wonderful to be able to play outside more.
It melts my mama heart when this happens:
This is lots of fun too! Willow has enjoyed trying out drawing bubble letters herself lately!
With a couple evening activities cancelled, we decided to enjoy a mid-week trip to McDonalds for a post-dinner treat. Just because!!
We headed to Busch Gardens or a few days but enjoyed a sleepover (Round Two!) at the Murrays on the way. The girls hardly slept but hung in pretty well the next day while enjoying BG together!
The difference between Willow and Owen eating apples is evidenced below. Willow was "done" with hers shortly after this picture was taken, so Owen finished it for her (after already eating his own). He had a 3rd apple for an afternoon snack. Three apples a day keeps the...???
The kids were ready to leave the bird area within seconds of this happening:
The Skyride!!!
Owen's happy place: people watching with an apple
Missing teeth make for great straw holders!
Makes you wonder what's going through her head...
Willow's Highlights magazine had a few April Fools jokes that she was excited to try out. Here are her "brown Es" instead of brownies. For the other one, you're supposed to say "I found some shoes I thought you'd like, so I got you a pair [pear]."
We enjoyed the morning at our favorite park yesterday with Kim, Hannah, Hunter, Nana and Grandpa. Check out Willow's new trick! They enjoyed making music (with their new friend) too!
Here's Willow on the balance beam. Who do you think looks more steady? Willow or Aunt Kim?
Silly kids!
Owen was showing us his Yoga moves that he learned on Sesame Street lately:
Then he drew a Storm Trooper doing Yoga too (turn your head to the left. What looks like a P is the storm trooper's bent leg). Owen is quite the little budding artist. Here he is explaining how to draw a Storm Trooper on a different day recently. He's drawing it in gray, but it turns out to look the same as the one already drawn on the sidewalk.
Check out those es!!
Gramps and Gramma got here today...which means everyone is all smiles!!
Willow made most of the welcome sign on the sidewalk this time (Owen made the L):
