Kim and I were able to attend the eWomen conference in our area a few weeks ago, thanks to Chris and Chad being willing to let us slip away. It was a great conference and we're both signed up to go next year! There were some great presenters and a great concert Friday night by For King and Country. I recognized their songs from listening to the Christian radio station but it was even better hearing them live. They have such a great energy! I'm not sure how "big" they are in the Christian music world, but it was cool that the lead singer walked through the crowd - even in the nose-bleed seats where we were!
They had everyone turn on the flashlight on their phone - which was beautiful and crazy at the same time.

One of the presenters suggested drawing a cross on your wrist to remind to you show Christ's love through your words/actions, which is a fun, much-needed reminder at school sometimes!!
Chris and the kids attended a local arts fair and seemed to have a great day too!
