For Labor Day we enjoyed apple picking with the family! The weather was great and there were lots of great apples the kids could reach.

Who needs a basket?
After apple picking we drove to a nearby waterfall with a 4-mile hike. The kids did great. The trail was shaded and cool.
We found a nice spot by the stream for a picnic lunch!
The waterfall was pretty amazing! (There were a "few" other people there)
There was an upper loop and lower loop. We took the upper loop there (easier terrain) and the lower loop along the stream on the way back (a bit more rocky as you can see below).
So far we've made caramel apples and apple-cinnamon bread. Willow has become quite a baker!!
