Here are a few other odds and ends from April:
Willow and I caught a stomach bug and ended up on the couch for a few days. Willow enjoyed reading through her blog books.
Alli gave me company as well:
Willow tricked some classmates and teachers on April Fool's Day with her "brownies" (brown Es)
Gramps and Gramma came down for Owen's birthday and party. We made it up to the school to play ball for a while:
They also made it to a few practices:
Uncle Don made the kids a cool baseball lamp post. They each picked out a colored bulb at the store with Gramma.
Willow is her class's SCA representative this year and the SCA are part of the school's annual Earth Day assembly. The SCA members get to dress up using recycled materials then members of the community vote for the best costume. Willow wanted to be a Plastic Bag Princess. Thankfully Pinterest has ideas for that too!! Here's her "try on."
They also sang a song at the assembly ("We Are the World"). Gramps and Gramma were able to attend and saw her walk down the aisle at the assembly.

I always think of little Owen when these irises bloom in our front yard. He's so big next to them now!!
