Camping!

We had a free fall weekend and decided to take advantage of beautiful fall weather to camp at a local place along a river. They have fun lofted canopy sites that we'd seen while tubing this summer and were excited to give it a try! Thankfully they had a "shuttle service" since our site was a mile away from the parking lot!

All this stuff....for just one night!

Unfortunately the site had a steep drop to the river but it didn't stop the kids from exploring...and ending up wet (Owen).

My "bed" for the night...well I lasted about 90 minutes but was shivering too bad to fall asleep. Maybe on a warmer night...

When you forgot the graham crackers at home and the car is a mile away...you make due and use bread for s'mores.

Different...but consumable!

Chris made us eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast for breakfast!
