We enjoyed Emerald Isle so much last year that we decided to go to the same beach and get the same house! No regrets! I felt like the weather was hotter this week than in years past, but I guess that made the ice cream taste sweeter and the water feel even more refreshing!
We got a lot of puzzles done! I love that the kids join in too!
Dads and a pool are the best combo! We've loved having a house with a pool! (Unpictured is the two hours that the moms were in the pool too!)
I found this picture idea online but it was definitely a "Pinterest fail" for us! There must be some photo shop magic that happened in theirs!
When we walked on the beach, it sounded like there were seals barking. Come to realize, it was the sound of our feet on the sand?!? It was so strange!This was definitely the worst puzzle we did all week. It seemed like it should be fairly straight forward but, if you look closely at the lemons, the pieces could go in multiple places. Boo! Hiss! Two thumbs down!
Last year the beach was covered with jellyfish. This year it was covered with tons of this sea grass!
ALL the adults got a hole-in-one!!
One of the holes had a wheel that you could spin for a challenge on that hole (ex: hit the ball behind your back, hit the ball with your eyes closed, subtract one point from your score, etc.)
The culdesac was fun for playing catch!

There's a fun place that has bowling, an arcade, go karts, an aerial course, and a restaurant. It's so fun!
We biked, walked, or ran to donuts!
We enjoyed watching the Olympic trials!
