Willow had a chance to go to Homecoming at her friend Kinsley's school. They had a great time getting ready together, taking pictures, going to Mexican for dinner, then heading to the dance. Many kids from church and dance go to that school too, so it sounds like she had a fun time!
Willow went dress shopping with friends and would text us pictures. She ended up picking out a dress then was surprised to find out that it was just $5! What a steal!
Before her school's Homecoming, the Junior and Senior girls play flag football against each other in a Powderpuff game. Willow had a handful of practices and enjoyed challenging the seniors to a close game! Many band members voluntarily stayed to play, including Owen!
Unfortunately Willow threw up 3 times the night of the Powderpuff game and was unable to attend her Homecoming with friends. We were thankful she at least got to go with Kinsley!

He also participated in the Homecoming pep assembly. I'm so grateful that the 8th graders are included in assemblies like these! It's been such a cool experience for him!
