Star Student(s)!

Willow's Kindergarten class has a Star Student each week. It finally got far enough in the alphabet for her to have a turn =)  She got to fill out the information below about herself, bring something special from home for Show and Tell (her Elsa castle, of course), be the line leader for the week, and is now the "M expert" (if students need help with the letter or sound, they're supposed to come to her).

For spelling, her teacher uses Word Study. She has pictures to sort each week by their sounds. Up until the last few weeks she's sorted pictures by their beginning sound, but now she has ending sound sorts. To make her think a little bit more we've been having her try to spell the pictures, knowing that on her test the teacher is only looking for the ending sound to be written. She's done pretty well! Can you tell what she's trying to spell? When I asked her why she was putting ... after each word she said that it shows that there's more words coming. But, of course!

Owen likes to have work to do too. I have some font sorts from school that he's done well sorting. He especially likes writing in his "flippy book" as shown below:

Can you make out where he was trying to write the letters of his name below where Chris wrote them?

And, when the schoolwork is done, there's always something that needs fixed:
Did the crocodile need a root canal??
