Busch Gardens and Water Country

The four of us slipped away for a few days at Busch Gardens and Water Country this week. We were able to beat some of the summer crowd by going during the weekdays before those area schools get out. We've gotten a Busch Gardens pass for the past few years but have never taken advantage of the pass getting us into Water Country, mostly figuring that since Willow couldn't swim and wasn't ready for water slides, what could there possibly be for us to do there? Well....let's just say I've been putting a major guilt trip on myself this week because there is SO much for the kids to do! 3 playground/fountain areas, 2 lazy rivers, a wave pool, many toddler slides and short tube slides...so much!! We had a blast to say the least. The kids had great attitudes and slept well, which is always a good combination =)  Our parking receipt also got us into Busch Gardens the same day, so 2 days we hit both parks in the same day! I wish we were closer so we could go more often! I didn't get too many pics due to being on the ride with the kids (Hooray!) or being fearful of dropping the camera in the water.

After receiving one courtesy call after the kids went to bed, we quickly disconnected the phones for the rest of our stay, which made a fun toy for the kids though:

One of the fun playground areas:

Post-nap show time (this "zone" look is why we don't do TV often!!):

Their requested areas at Busch Gardens are always the "treehouse" area, water area at the Sesame Street area, train, and sky ride. We hit them all!

We were thankful to meet up with the Murrays on our last day! Thanks to Morgan for capturing these moments!

Willow and Owen loooooved this ride! When we would get in line, Owen would always say, "Who's gonna get wet this time!!!"
