Willow: Soccer

 Willow chose to play soccer for the first time this year instead of Girls on the Run like last fall. She jumped right into playing on a 10U team with other girls who had played for 3 years already but she did a great job learning the basics of soccer and the positions in the game. She enjoyed playing defense, especially "last defender" (right in front of the goalie). She had some great saves and really got a feel for where to be on the field. She did play offense once but isn't quite quick or aggressive enough for the coach to put her in that position often. Her team had a great season, only losing one game to an undefeated team!
