For Halloween Owen was a Ninja and Willow was a baker. When we looked at baker's hats online she wanted a baret instead. She also came up with the idea of baking cookies to give out to people while trick-or-treating!
Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with trick-or-treating. We saw rain in the forecast but were hopeful when we ate dinner and it wasn't raining. Go figure that right when we were headed out the door it was raining lightly and by the time we went to both culdesacs it was a downpour. The kids were able to get candy at just 8 or 9 houses.
Due to the rain, the kids were getting handfuls of candy at each house, so they still made out ok.
But were really wet!!
The downtown businesses rescheduled their trick-or-treating, so we were able to do that with better weather on Monday.
