Murray Adventures!

We were super excited to get together with the Murrays! It'd been almost 2 years since we'd seen them and we were excited they were interested in visiting us! They were able to find a house through Airbnb that was 10 minutes away and it worked out great! They'd been in town a couple times for quick birthday party visits but we were excited to show them a couple fun places nearby while they were here. The girls even had a sleepover one night :)

The kids enjoyed marking their territory with outdoor spray chalk that I found. Due to their excitement, it only lasted about 3 minutes before it was gone :)

There were MANY lazer tag battles!! It got pretty intense sometimes but was fun for all ages :)

They enjoyed quite a few games on the Wii too...dancing and driving. 

We enjoyed a hike and picnic nearby. The kids all did great...including the one in the backpack!

The kids enjoyed cooling off on the rock slide. The water was pretty chilly but they still enjoyed it. 

It was one of the hottest weeks of the summer (mid-90s) but we stayed cool with water gun fights and water balloons. 

Most people don't have fires on mid-90 days but when s'mores are involved, you make some sacrifices...

The "big kids" and dads went ziplining. After overcoming a few fears, all the kids had fun!

 Our hearts were filled to have had the chance to spend so much time with our sweet friends. We can't wait to adventure again in October. This time....camping!!
