We enjoyed putting up our tree the day after Thanksgiving. 9 years ago it was a prelit tree, but you can hardly call it "prelit" these days:
The kids did a great job of decorating the bottom half of the tree. Some branches have multiple ornaments =)
Owen took the job very seriously!
Willow and I headed to Target for "just" some strings of lights to add to the tree. It didn't end up being "just" that item, of course. Willow did a great job of picking out some gifts for Owen and assisting with wrapping them:
She took lots of credit for her choices for him:
Alli was a great helper too:

| Note: No paws were cut in the process of wrapping gifts. This picture happened to be taken in the split second that Alli "pounced" on the scissors while Willow cut. Willow was then afraid to cut any more and was happy to be the "taper." |
