We've been enjoying lots of time with Kim and the kids this summer - especially in water lately: rain, fountains, and the pool!
Rain brings out the craziness:
We never want to miss Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A!! (Note that Hunter's outfit is a 24mo onesie that Willow wore for the last time when she was 3. Check her out in it here and here.)
Nana flew in for a week from CO to help with the kiddos while Chad was in CA for work. We had an enthusiastic crowd to greet her at the airport when she arrived!
We went to an indoor pool together and the kids had a great time. I stayed a bit later with the kids since Willow was excited (for the first time!!) to go down the water slide which didn't open until noon. In the meantime, though, Willow convinced me to put on her goggles and let her throw the dive rings for me but THEN I was able to convince Owen to try the goggles (which he's always refused before!) and he did...and it changed his world!!! Before that I'd been trying to get him to put his head in the water to practice his swimming but he wasn't so in to it. Although, after putting the goggles on, he hardly had his head out of the water!!! It was amazing!! Check him out!
Meanwhile, Kim force-fed her child sugary sweets...just kidding...he totally loved it after the first few shocks of the coldness:
We saw "Curious George" in the theater together - Hannah's first movie in the theater!!
We met at a fun outdoor pool. Willow wants to go back for the WHOLE day next time =) I guess she liked it!! Check out her new trick here.
Another day we met at the park then played in the fountains. We love summer days!!
Hannah presses her luck staring in to where the fountains spray. Watch her with anxiousness here.
