Holiday fun!

It's been a fun December full of Christmas traditions and activities. The kids enjoyed decorating a gingerbread house together:

We enjoy going to a downtown hotel which has various organizations decorate Christmas trees in themes:

The organization that did the tremendous Minion display last year did a Finding Nemo theme this year:

Both kids attended friend birthday parties:

Owen is not pictured in front of the awesome Candy Land castle below because his umbilical cord was reattached to me at the time.

He did enjoy the castle later when the "crowd" moved upstairs:

Did you know they still made Polaroid cameras??? So fun!!

Sweet Kathryn (or "Kafrin" as Owen would say):

Willow invited 6 friends over to decorate cookies. Although all RSVPed (plus a little sis), thankfully only 4 showed up because it was busy and messy!! I got these aprons for them to decorate but it didn't work like I thought and they weren't able to use them to decorate, but maybe they will in the future.

Deep breath!! It can all be cleaned up!

Can you find the cookie underneath all the sprinkles?

Sugar on top of sugar!!

Willow and I met up with a friend for the first time for lunch, then her mom took the kids to the mall so I could run to a few stores by myself! What???

One more gingerbread house for good measure:

My Aunt Linda made awesome aprons for the kids, so we made some cookies at Nana's to "break them in." The kids did a great job and many "sick germs" were shared among all!

Thanks Aunt Linda!!

Hunter's not quite ready for rolling cookies, but does an awesome somersault!
