You may remember reading about the tiny bunny we (and Alli) found in our backyard recently. Well, the other morning Willow and I were getting ready upstairs and suddenly heard Chris shouting "Alli no! Alli no! Alli no!" It ends up that Chris saw the poor bunny in her mouth outside (again) and opened the door to get her to drop it, but she ran into the house with it instead!! It ended up jerking itself out of Alli's mouth, but then ran through the living room and into the play room with Alli chasing it, Chris chasing Alli, and Owen crying at the table eating breakfast (hoping the rabbit wasn't going to get caught again!!). It found the safe place pictured below while Chris trapped Alli in the laundry room. He was able to pick it up and carry it towards the back door, where it took a flying leap once it saw the open door. What a morning for everyone involved!!
Last weekend this little guy was on our back porch. We've since seen him in most areas of the backyard. It's become a daily game of "Where is the turtle now?"
