Our church has a low-key holiday program each year during the church service that is optional for kids to participate in. They have two practices, learn a few songs, and have the option of volunteering for a dancing or speaking part. We were surprised (based on Owen's lack of interest in his preschool programs) when Owen said he wanted to be a part of it!! He went to both practices and did the performances at both services without any hesitation!! He could even be seen singing and doing motions!! It was incredible! (I pointed him out to his preschool teacher who was at the 2nd service and she couldn't believe it either!)
You could say he felt VERY comfortable at the 2nd service. He was making up his own motions and may have found his "match" this year with the little girl on the far left who is a blur from her hand motions she's created. We couldn't stop chuckling!! Here's the 2nd version of Rise Up Shepherd.
