We had a great time celebrating Christmas in PA this year. It gets harder and harder to get the family together all at the same time but having 4 "mini celebrations" helped fill our days with lots of time with family and lots of laughter....those uncles sure do love to get the kids riled up!
Patti was pretty excited about a "larger than life" size Santa that sang and danced. The kids liked it too!!
Owen enjoyed cutting out these Star Wars finger puppets. He's gotten really good with cutting since starting Kindergarten too!
One of Tom and Patti's friends from church enjoys working with model trains. He has quite an elaborate system set up in his basement that he let us come over to check out. It was mind-blowing to me how intricate it is and I loved hearing the thought he put into naming buildings and recreating real cities. The kids even got to use the controllers to drive one of the trains!
We love checking out new books at other libraries!

There's always a basement full of family! It's a tradition to use the wrapping paper for a "snowball fight" after opening presents. Without any discussion/reminders about it, Owen was the first one to throw a wrapping paper ball. Haha! Check them out.
It's fun to see the kids interact more with their second-cousin Logan!

We loved having the Shannon family drive all the way to Tom and Patti's this year. Their girls have always been so good with our kiddos and the same was true for this visit. The adults even were able to play Settlers!!

Willow got face paint for Christmas too and Owen was a very encouraging and patient customer. When Willow told him the octopus wasn't going to look quite like the picture, he said, "That's ok. It looks fantastic!"
