September Wrap-Up

The high school has a Youth Night where kids in their fall sports uniforms get into the football game for free AND get to be announced and see the players come out on the field. Willow enjoyed the game with a few of the girls from her soccer team. Owen enjoyed people watching. We all enjoyed being outside and feeling the school pride, then watching the band's halftime performance.

Can you find Owen?

Owen made each of us a worksheet and enjoyed grading it

I'm so blessed to have these sweet ladies (one not pictured) in my life to pray with twice a month!

The kids always enjoy eating the skin of the apples after we've used the apple corer/peeler. Here's their "Lady and the Tramp" moment.

Willow and Gramma made a 3-layer chocolate cake! They did a great job!

The kids are still enjoying helping with dinners. They both love Tortellini Salad and both signed up to help. I learned my lesson on taking photos when Owen dropped the knife seconds after this picture was taken!!! Yikes!

You know you're NOT from the south when you don't know how to spell y'all  ;)

Can you read her sweet message? I love how she comes up with these on her own!

We had just been talking about how our messages would last a long time since there was no rain in sight on the 10-day forecast (or the previous 100 it feels like!!).

The mornings have had a taste of fall lately. Alli's been really enjoying the window seat lately. Just enough sunshine and fall temps but in the protection of her home (if we can get Owen to keep a spot clear of Legos for her!!).

Owen's enjoyed making acronyms lately.

Some of them can only be understood by a 7-yr old boy brain (aka WSAS).
