Children's Museum

I'd heard about this wonderful 4-story children's museum but needed to find the right time to go with Chris since it's an hour away. It was awesome! There were so many things to explore that we'll have to go back again another time since we didn't even make it to one of the floors (our life still revolves around naptime).

This was their way of listing their donors. Each letter could be pushed in, then you could use a bar to pull them all back out. Creative!!

They had 2 areas that were just for younger kids. Owen loved driving the tractor, of course.

Exploring underground!

Harvesting the corn:

Trains!!

To get to the next floor you could either take the stairs (also a fun option shown farther below) or climb through tunnels, ladders, slides, and rope bridges. I think we could've played on that alone for the 2 hours we were there!

The fun "bug" exhibit:

The non-playground option of getting upstairs. The stairs lit up as you stepped on them. So cool!

These fun ramps were magnetic and you could create your own ramp then try it out with a golf ball:

Playing with electricity:

This would be a great place to take a 2nd grade field trip. They had Native American exhibits, as well as China and Egypt too.

This was one of the rope tunnels to get between floors. The flash makes the picture deceiving, as it was pretty dark in there!
