There was a free dog show going on at the civic center this weekend so we decided to check it out. Owen is really in to dogs. Willow is still pretty hesitant (and really has been ever since a puppy jumped up on her when she was 11 months old!!). Owen's also been requesting the Cat in the Hat Dog Show book lately so it seemed like a good idea to check it out. It didn't hold their attention too long, but it was rather interesting. They had dogs being shown in 8 rings at the same time. It was hard for us to tell the difference between some of the dogs! They literally could've come out of the same litter. How do you judge that?? We were impressed with how the dogs paid no attention to the other dogs as they walked past each other. You rarely even heard a dog bark. Strange!!
You've got to wonder what goes through the dog's mind as their owner lifts out their tail and moves their paw 1/2" from where it had previously been.
Seriously! Aren't they all the same? We joked that you could let the dogs go and the owners probably wouldn't be able to tell you which one was theirs!
That's a lot of dogs!!!
